This statue is actually not Eve, but Venus with Apple, by the Danish Sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen. Venus holds the golden of discord, which she won in a competition against the goddessess, Hera and Athena. The apple was awarded to her by Paris, thus putting into play the start of the Trojan War. Our version of Venus is inspired by the beautiful original that graces the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. This statue will arrive in whitewear unless a finish is chosen. Please note this is the same piece as ST10.
