The bust of Mercury has him looking out and a far. A perfect match for the god always on the go.
Even as baby, this Roman God played tricks on other gods. Though mischievous, he was liked by
god & man alike.
Mercury was the God of mischief and very clever.
He was also the god of eloquence and wit and messenger of other gods.
Because of his quick wit and eloquence,
he always knew what to say and when. So Mercury was enlisted to write
speeches for other gods and worked as their messenger.
Being fast a foot, Mercury was also the god of thieves.
But he did not steal anything for himself. If at all he did steal,
it was only for fun and he would usually return it to the owner.
Another part of Mercury's Mischievous nature.
